El fichaje de Raúl Albiol por el Real Madrid está hecho. El central será la tercera incorporación de la temporada y el segundo español que ficha Florentino Pérez, tras Sergio Ramos. El Real Madrid pagará 15 millones y confirma que pese a la polémica por Villa las relaciones entre el Valencia y el Real Madrid no son un drama.
Raúl Albiol, que en la actualidad tiene 23 años, es un central zurdo criado en la cantera del Valencia, aunque pasó un año cedido en el Getafe, y es un fijo en el equipo titular de la selección española desde que debutara en el 2007, sumando ya quince entorchados y habiéndose proclamado campeón de Europa. Cuando regrese de Sudáfrica firmará y pasará el reconocimiento médico.
