Sir Alex Ferguson ha decidido reforzar la banda derecha del ataque del equipo red con la llegada de Ashley Young. Según la página web del campeón de la Premier League, el Manchester United ha llegado a un acuerdo con el Aston Villa para el traspaso del internacional inglés. El diario The Guardian cifra la operación en cerca de 17 millones de euros.
Una vez pasado esta semana el reconocimiento médico, Young, de 25 años, firmará por las próximas cinco temporadas. Se trata del segundo fichaje del Manchester, tras el defensa del Blackburn Rovers Phil Jones.
